Summer 2009 became the best "Explore Norway" season ever. With a passenger increase of 130% we can clearly establish the success as a fact.

Kristin Gaustad, Manager Incoming Sales in Widerøe said: -"We are very pleased by the great results this summer.  We think the main reason is the new, efficiant online-booking system launched this June, which made it much easier to turn interest into concrete bookings."  She also tells that even though the greatest increase came from the Norwegian market, we have customers from 16 different countries, and that people from Spain, Great Britain, Germany and USA did top the list of foreingers exploring Norway this summer.
